When someone says God to you, and they are pushy...."HEY you better follow GOD or you're in big trouble"

Think of it as an acronym.

Good
Orderly
Direction

Just a thought......

A Christian who loves you no matter what you believe,

David

David I am Jewish and I love what you wrote I want to shake your hand. Do you know the Jewish meaning of David? It means the beloved. I know because it is my brother's name. God loves you and so do I.

While I appreciate your intentions, we aren't looking for this help. You sound like a decent person, but I can only see myself and fellow nonbelievers taking this neutrally to negatively. When we're dealing with the pushy types, thinking that might help our opinion of you but it'll do nothing for the situation.

And they usually bring hell into the mix, and once that happens, it's pretty much Jesus or fire in their minds. Good orderly direction means nothing even to them.

I think those who are pushing it onto others are not only trying to convince others, but also convince themselves. WHy else would you be in constant doubt and so fearful of losing members when they realize it's a bunch of bull? I'm not a christian, but I do believe in God. I am a muslim WOMAN, and I made that choice long ago. I've never been happier, my life was worse before. I believe ONLY in God. ONLY God has the right to be worshipped. That's the first commandment in your bible too, but you worship three different Gods.

I believe in God, but I don't think that approach changes how it is received by the non-believer. Just leave them be, as all belief systems have value and everyone is where they are supposed to be.

There is ample opportunity afforded to all souls to enter the Kingdom of Heaven ... God has provided for that.

I would say to those who try to witness and "convert", unless you are asked .... learn when to be silent and simply witness by your life and your actions, not by your words.

Ok. Good orderly direction. But why does it have to come from some unknown invisible being?

Why is it so important for your god to make others "believe?" Maybe he/she/it is a little bit insecure and confused? Needs to know that it is needed? Needs to feel important?

Thanks Dave *thumbs up

"HEY you better follow GOD or you're in big trouble"

Sounds more like a threat than saying we love you.

here we are once again with this non believer, just becasue I do not believe the same thing you do does not mean I am A non believer. I believe in God, I believe in love, I do not need a religion in between to tell me what is right or what is wrong, I know it becasue I have God IN my heart and I follow only what leads me to love.
PEACE . God bless.

Personally when someone gets pushy about belief in a deity or deities I tend to tune them out. No one will listen to someone who is trying to twist their arm.

As for the acronym.. I can find my own direction I don't need a deity whom may or may not exist to do that for me.
