Have you researched this breed thoroughly? They are very intelligent and typical herders needing a lot of stimulation and time to prevent destructive behaviour.

No doubt about it they are a fascinating breed and in the right hands, with the right amount of time spent, they can make excellent family pets and guard dogs.

As an interesting aside there is a very nice specimen that crops up in the 1980's version of the film 'The Blob' !!

If you ever watch this film keep an eye out for the lovely Aussie Cattle dog that appears and good luck !!

maximum dogs hair grows returned whilst they're shaved. telephone youre nearest vet or dogs groomer and ask an authority. they could say the fur acts as insulation and to no longer shave. If youre dogs seems warm consistent with threat its the terrific component to have him shaved. Im in W.A. and a great form of people right here get their dogs shaved. I hose my dogs off some cases an afternoon in summer season and enable him pass swimming. he's likewise allowed in the homestead so he lies on the cool tiles. you are able to positioned ice cubes in his water and additionally supply him ice cubes to consume until you communicate to a specialist. Ive considered some farm animals dogs with a great thick coat so if youre dogs is like that consistent with threat a solid shear might do him good, you will quickly locate out if hes happier like that or no longer! good success.

There is one in Weston-super-Mare, her name is Angela something I think but she also keeps a rottie and it attacked my pregnant friend so, it depends on how badly you want one. I can probably find her last name out if you want but I don't think they are very friendly dogs.....
