Don't punch him, as much as you probably want to, that'll just make things worse for you. Most people who are SURE that they can do anything they want and still be okay because they were SAVED, are gonna be in for a rude awakening when their time comes. I wouldn't waste another minute of my time even worrying about him, because all the time you DO spend being mad about it, isn't affecting his happiness, it's affecting yours. I know it's hard-believe me, I've BEEN THERE! Instead, let him go. Whatever he did, it WILL come back on him, because it always does. Then you can be the one who's standing there laughing your butt off -and he can't get you put in jail for laughing, but if you hit him.......well that's another story. Keep your chin up, and good luck!

Boy do I know how you feel girl! I've been dealing with a similar situation where I've wanted to punch this guy's lights out for 3 years! I think about calling the EEOC and talk to friends who give me ideas for getting back at him and God always brings me back around to the same idea. Galatians 6:7 says that you reap what you sow. What goes around comes around and when it comes around to this guy - it's not going to be a pretty sight. Do realize that God is so much bigger than we are, that's it's like - OK - if we get in the way - He won't be able to get through to that person and bring on justice. Sometimes, remember people say that they are saved - but you're not the judge of hearts - God is. A person can talk a great talk and have no relationship with God whatsoever - their total goal in life is to persuade you to lose faith. But if you're one of God's chosen, they can bring you down - yet God will always lift you back up again to stand on solid ground. You can't be snatched out of God's hand - no matter what people like this do to you.

There is a Scripture which says: "Do not let the sun go down on your anger"......
It means to take account of what is causing your anger and remedy it before you go to sleep........
If you go to sleep upset about an unresolved issue, it troubles you in the form of symbols...... which simply mean that you have left the story of your troubles in that place (Luke 17:21).......
Forgive your transgressor.... when you do, you are forgiven for your own transgressions.... if you cannot forgive, you will be held accountable for all you too have done....... (Matt 18:21-22)
Now remember the account of the wicked servant who was forgiven his "debts" and did unto another what he was forgiven for..... ((Matt 18:23-35)).........

"O people of the book, the best amongst you are the most righteous, All that you do in the open and all that you hide in your hearts, God is well aware of, You shall on the day of judgement reap the fruits of your doings, whoever has done an atoms worth of good shall have his reward, whosoever has done an atoms worth of evil shall be punished accordingly," (gist of the commandments in the Koran)
This refers to actions and its implications, No soul shall be wronged, for every act against every soul shall be accounted for and compensated.

I am sorry that you have been hurt by this person. I know that you probably feel like lashing out, but don't forget that one of the fruits of the spirit is self control. You would probably be sorry after you did it anyway.
Something I always ask myself is "What would Jesus do?"
Blessings

Sounds like he has a very strange idea, like a lot of people, "Say the magic words then do anything you like".
Just proves that what Gandhi said was very to the point "I love your Christ, but I don't like your Christians as they are so unlike him."

well, according to the bible you can still go to heaven if you repent before you die. so, you can do what you want with this guy, but remeber to repent. of course im kidding. you need to talk to this person and let him know how you feel, don't give up. be a good girl.

most men won't report a woman for punching them in the face. they lose face. you might feel better. you might not. the universe will always get back and you might not even be there to see it. but like voodoo if you punch him, you have to pay back too...

read Matthew 18:15-17.I hope it helps, but make sure you do this in love.Helping him to see this and not allowing him to cover it up,might be the best for both of you.
