It would be easier to take your question seriously if you'd just click that little spell thingy. Your spelling is so bad it makes you appear less than bright, but giving you the benefit of the doubt, I'd say the answer is.......no.
Most intelligent, thinking Christians realize that a lot of the bible was written so that people of the time could have an understanding of certain principles of conduct, eating habits, cultural stories.
The New Testament is better authenticated. Christians must believe that Christ is Savior and that by believing in Him and asking forgiveness, that one is saved. John 3:16 is the short explanation.
Fundamentalists believe the world was created in 7 twenty-four hours days, the WHOLE earth was flooded during the flood, etc., but I don't think the average, educated, intelligent Christian any longer believes that after they are about 8 years old.
To my thinking, if they did, "intelligent Christian" would be an oxymoron.
Have faith, don't have faith; it's between you and God.

I think that most of them probably do find at least some truth to it becuase the majority of them define being Christian by believing in the Bible. Whether or not you believe it though, its not commendable to call it bull. I am not Christian, so I do not interpret the Bible literally but I do believe that most of the people are real and that the events took place. These things can be proven in history and science in some ways. You will be better off to learn about a religion for the sake of learning, rather than assuming it is BS. If you have a problem with the fact that they believe there is no other way to believe in God...then you are no better by telling them they are wrong. Educate yourself so that you may have an argument with valid, well-developed thoughts and learn more. It can't hurt to know the basis of any religion.

I guess u didn't hear about the dead sea scrolls that were discovered in the late 1940's. They show that the Bible is still almost unchanged after several thousand years. Yeah, the spelling may be a little different, but yours isn't nothing to brag about. It's ok to think any way u want, but make sure u've done enough research before u bash others.
The Bible says the word is foolishness to a physical man because he can't make sense of it. 1 Corinthians 2; 14

The Bible is a series of scripts created by brilliant philosophers
that help guide people in a pure direction of happiness and peace.
But a lot of "would-be-called" Christians misinterpret the Bible, and live under strict circumstances, causing them to become tainted with prejudice and bigotry.
Anybody who can't spell above a fourth grade level, shouldn't be
scoffing something that they don't have the capacity to understand. I am not at all religious, and I am not Christian. But narrow-minded thinking as expressed here, is obtuse.

Yes we REAL Christians believe in the Bible and it is not bull. It is truth. Yes there are alot of different versions of the Bible but have you ever noticed that they all tell the same story? Read and you will know.

If "Christians" didn't believe the Holy Bible, they wouldn't be Christians - would they? I find that everyone I know and everyone in the world has a religion and a god or two he or she worships. Money is the biggest god, then houses, cars, careers, cigarettes, sex, drugs, alcohol, music, them self , etc. , etc. So; what's the big deal about someone having God as their God? Even, if you don't believe in God ... the Muslims will make you worship their god when they take over North America, by the hands of the Terrorist extremists.

Wow - you must be very intelligent seeing that you can't even form a sentence. Quite frankly, you don't have a clue about what you are trying to talk about. If you are so sure about what you believe, then why are you so concerned about mine? Regardless of all of this, Jesus still loves you.
Question: If I'm wrong about my beliefs, then I just die and it makes no difference, right? But, what if you are wrong about what you believe? Where will you be?

I also think it is funny that you are commenting on different versions of the Bible (even though the Book of Mormon isn't a Bible - it is false teachings) and you have a completely different version of the english language.

I find it rude to criticize others religion, just because you don't believe in God you don't have to be a jerk about it. I too don't believe in God, but I don't try and convince others or criticize them. I believe JC was a good man & if more people followed the teachings of him what a wonderful world we would have. However, I don't believe he is the son of God, as I don't believe there is a God. I was raised a Christian, but through my spiritual journey I've decided to not believe I'm going to burn in hell for pleasures I adore. I'll continue to try & be a good person as Christianity led to be in the first place, which includes doing to others as I'd have done to me. You should try that, rather you are a non-believer or just a plain MORON.
