sleep is the most common answer, but do you know why? when you don't get enough sleep, you'll look pale in the morning. since the skin under your eyes is super thin, the blood capillaries will show through, causing the dark circles. for this cause, the dark circles can be treated as bruising, since it is blood which causes the darkness. i apply olive oil (NOT the COOKING variety) under my eyes before i sleep. the vitE helps in the repair of capillaries.

however if it's due to pigmentation, skin lightening creams will work i guess, though personally i've never tried them.

of course, drink plenty of water, and eat lots of colourful fruits!

Actually i've been to a derma and asked him too. If yours is skin deep and have been there for years, chances are its gonna be very hard to remove it.

The best method? sleep by 10 everyday, sleep 8 hrs a day. Its what making them go dark. Can try EyeQ's eye mask as well. It's quite good.

Have you tried cooled tea bags? Get a good 8 hour sleep. Or use SKII eye cream.
