There is this girl in my class that sits right next to me at my table that is very touchy and likes to fondle my hair and stuff..She generally pays more attention to me and is very flirty...I would normally just ask her out on a date or something but she talks to other girls at my table about this guy she likes..I don't know whether she is just a flirty girl or if she is actually interested...What do you ladies think?

She sounds flirty, in a skin deep way. Not implying that she's superficial, it's just that there probably isn't much more to the touchy feely stuff than what you already see. She wouldn't be talking about other guys if she was afraid you'd lose interest.

If she sits next to you all the time it seems that she likes you. If she is talking about another guy this may be to make you jealous. Fondling your hair is a sign of flirting.
There is no better way to find out than taking her out on a date. Go give i a try.

She's either a flirt or a player. She is talking about another guy possibly to see how you'll react because she does like you. Play hard to get for awhile to see if she keeps coming around. I've played that stupid game before, sounds like she is interested but accept the fact that she may be playing you too.

frequent touching is uninvited violation of your personal space
(even if you like it now) and indicates inapproprate personal boundries.
she can just as easily be touching some other guy in another class.
