>Do you know if this causes headaches?
Constipation may cause stress which in turn may bring on a headache but, generally speaking, constipation does not cause headaches.
You should really visit your doctor if either the headaches or constipation persist.
Take care and best of luck!

Get some bananas, they're loaded with fiber. Also keep drinking water. And yes, oatmeal usually does. Basically you can tell whether it does or not just by looking at the Nutrition Facts on the item and seeing whether it has a lot of grams of fiber or not. Fiber is an indigestible solid that slides right through your body to your large intestine, just sitting there until it eventually gets pushed out. It's a very good thing to have a lot of fiber in your diet, most americans don't get enough. Personally, I don't eat many fruits or vegetables, but I never get constipation. Make sure you poop at least once a day, don't go 2 days without pooping you'll regret it (unless you barely eat anything). But yeah like I said keep drinking water and go to the store and buy a whole bunch of bananas. I really like bananas so it's an advantage for me. Btw, most fruits and vegetables have lots of fiber in them, basically any fruit or veggie is a good choice to solve constipation issues.

Well I always find that if I drink a litre of water and then hold in my pee for as long as possible (maybe 30 mins) then the water seems to soften my stool enough to pass it. You are probably dehydrated; your stools certainly are. Drinking a lot of water and holding it my body for a while seems to help me. I wouldn't recommend drinking more than a litre in one go though. Try drinking at least 2 litres every day without fail after this to try to avoid constipation. You could also try a tablespoon of Castor Oil or Olive Oil, but I would still recommend the water first.

I find that having a hot water bottle/ hot compress on the lower stomach really helps over night!!!!
Might be to much information, but went to sleep last night with a hot water bottle now im going to the toilet absolutely fine!
