I met this guy recently and I am really attracted to him. I am in college and we have classes together. We joke around constantly, but when he says anything to "hurt my feelings"-not really HURT them, he is very quick to correct himself. He is always helping me out, throwing stuff at me, asking if me and one of our guy friends is going out with a "eh eh?? are y'all going out??" and he also calls me "baby" jokingly and goes "you ARE single......righttttt??" When I replied with a "yes" he goes "goooooood remain single!"
Is he interested or just being the typical goofy guy!!? :) Thanks for any help y'all!! :) God bless!

Actually it seems to be a mixture of the two.
From what you have said, I believe that he is interested but would rather stay friends than risk having a mental barrier form if you were to turn him down. Observe how he interacts with people other than you. If my assumption is correct, he may be goofy overall but more so with you to "break the ice" when asking such personal questions.

Look for two things: 1). The way he looks at you; is he looking INTO your eyes, or just looking at you. 2). Whether he gives you an opportunity to hookup with him OUTSIDE of school. Also, as long as he is correcting his negative statements, he likes you. If you're a 9 or 10 on the beauty scale, these so-called "negs" are actually a good sign.

Sounds like he likes you. His statement about staying single is probably because he's not sure what to do about his feelings for you. If you become attached, you then become unavailable to him. Hang in there and enjoy the ride, he sounds like a nice guy and worth the wait.

wow thats kinda a hard one. i think its him jsut flirting with you and not really knowing what to do or say show that he likes you. Truly hes the only one who knows weather he likes you or not. but luck and god bless as well<333

All people are different, and you can't make a "typical guy" Best way in my opinion ask him what he thinks of you, and proceed from there.. Good Luck!
