Has Anyone Else That Moved To Over 8000Ft Have Peculiar Body Sensations?

We moved to a place from sea level to over 8000ft and have been here for almost a year.I have been experiencing odd physical symptoms and wondering if anyone that has moved to this or a higher altitude from lower one tell me anything that they have experienced that was odd or different from when the lived at a lower place.Anything odd at all ?

I actually get sick like the flu, and found it best to get back down in altitude, but you might get accustomed to it.
