You don't owe him anything so avoiding him is fine...

Yes you should deff talk to him just because the date didnt turn out so bad you shouldnt take it out on him, it just means you are better off as friends. If you were really close to him before just continue with the friendship talk to him about it and tell him that you think you would be better off as friends, and apologize for being so mean and avoiding him. It was entirely his fault just things are meant to be different. Good luck

i think you should marry him.
ok seriously if you were close friends as you put it then you need to be up front and say i don't think anything other then friendship will work for us, or something to that effect. You can't consider yourself a friend if you can't talk about it avoiding is rude. Now if he was some stranger you just met that would be different i would say yes just avoid him but you said you were good friends so you need to handle this differently.

Hi , you need to take time and talk to him tell him that you like him but only as a friend . if he is a good guy he will understand( just don't avoid him) it seems that you still want to be friends so just tell him that and it should help the situation ! God Bless !

Well if you keep avoiding him he's just gonna keep coming around waiting for you to talk to him ,trust me we don't take hints well lol. Just come out and tell him that you see no future with him and be direct and honest. Don't lead him on anymore..he might be thinking you're playing hard to get. Tell him you don't have feelings for him and let it go at that.
but don't just avoid him .. igf he starts really liking ya it will only be harder on him in the long run...

Don't avoid him just be straight up with him next time you see him. Its silly to duck him cause eventually you will run into each other, its best to just be honest with the guy and tell him you do not want to continue it.

Unless he has a crush on you, theres no reason to lose a firend over a bad date. You guys tried, youre not into each other, just try to stay friends if you like each other as friends.

if you were friends and you see him all the time..then know that he is aware that you are avoiding him. just tell him that the date was a wash and you think you guys should just remain friends. i bet you won't see him near as much anymore.

Why not just tell him you aren't interested? I feel like thats even worse to lead a guy on to thinking theres hope than just breaking it to him and letting him go on with his time.
