I always pick guys who like me apart and find something wrong. What should I do?

There's nothing wrong with not having a serious relationship at 18. Ultimately, the person you end up marrying will have something about them that you don't necessarily like. But it's OK. You're not going to find the "perfect guy". Give a good person a chance.

Typically if a guy is going to pick you apart he is doing it to wear you down. If a guy is insecure sometimes he will project that onto you and try to make you feel the same way by picking you apart.
You should be picky!!!!!!!!!! Please be picky! There are so many losers out there that you dont need to waste your time on. Have high expectations always! If it means being single for a while so be it. Better than spending your time with someone who isnt what you want.

What's wrong with being picky? Guys are when it comes to girls, you know. You need to think of what you want in a person and then look for that person. Then you need to get to know them and decide if they are for you.
~What set of morals should they have?
~What activities should they have (e.g., is it okay that they are a complete sports nut)?
~There should be some similarity in your interests, I would think.
~What opinions should they have about things (e.g., politics)?
~Do you think kindness and honesty are important?
~Do you want a "gentleman" or somone a little rough around the edges?
This is just the tip of the iceberg. I would suggest picking up a dating book and working through it. Figure out what you want first or you may end up with "Mr. Wrong." There's nothing wrong with being selective and looking for "Mr. Right." Good luck!

You are not picky! When Nature is ready, she will smack the crap out of you with an acquaintance that you cannot walk away from! You will have NO control, and there will not be a darn thing that you can do about it!
No one gets to go look and find! Everyone has his/her own personality and every ones personality will react uncontrollably to another person.
There are over 150,000,000 males on this earth and you have not met .005% of them! Too, they are all begging for a chance to meet you!

18 is too young to get serious. I made that mistake and got really really hurt. By playing the field a bit you get to know what you like and what you don't like in a guy. You'll know when the right guy comes along.

No you can't be to picky. you have a certain style you like doesnt' mean you should settle just to have anyone who cares what people think take your time to find one that appeals to you. or you can play the field for now till the right one you like comes along .

First of all, be picky! To find a good guy, find a real good friend or several good friends, and see what developes. Good friends make wonderful life partners, we've been married 46yrs and we are still best friends.
