To the person who said that neutering is only done to males...
Actually both males and females can be neutered. For females, it's called an ovariohysterectomy or spay. For males, it's called castration.

As for the original question...
It's possible that the oder could be coming from your cat's anal glands. They may need to be expressed. Take your cat to the vet and he/she will check it out and treat the problem.

first issues first, you may desire to offer a seperate area for the female and kittens. Male might desire to in no way have get admission to to the kittens. Secondly, if the male is new to the living house this makes the project even greater desirable. as nicely, why do you think of you have a Manx cat? A cat without a tail does no longer mean that's a Manx. Purebred Manx cats could have finished tails. A purebred Manx might have tall hindquarters approx a million to 2 inches greater than on the shoulders. The chest is vast. ft are very around as nicely as super around eyes. Ears set a approaches aside on the factors of the pinnacle so while observing the returned of the pinnacle the attitude from ear to ear feels like the attitude seen on the rocking chair element that sits on the floor. many human beings think of they have Manx cats however the tailless gene could be modern-day in almost each and every species of cat. that's basically greater commonplace contained in the Manx. you have got a blended breed cat that became into born without a tail.

She could have a Urinary Track Infection. Cats get them easily :// On each side of her a-hole are two little small glands. The doctor may need to express them (stick her finger in there to clean out the you know what). An easy way to check is to squeeze one, if no pus like exude comes out, she should be fine.

Good luck!

This is just the natural scent of her anal glands. All cats use them sometime to scent their area/territory or when they are hurt or scared. As long as they are not angry and red looking or swollen they are ok. Otherwise if they do look sore then they may have become impacted annal gland. Watch her behaviour and if she is constantly licking them and rubbing them, take her to the vet.
If she just had surgery, she is probably just a little sore.
You can use Kleenex to wipe it away...it just does stink!!!

I am soooo glad I am not eating Cheetos right now!!!!!!!

Um, anyway, I would make a quick call to the vet in the morning. They can most likely tell you if it is normal or not over the phone. They'll tell you the signs of infection.

For starters, your female cat was SPAYED. Neutering is done to males. lol

As for the smell, when was she spayed? She could have an infection, I would suggest calling the vet.

It's probably an impacted anal gland.Take her to the vet and they will empty it ,and if there's an infection, she'll need antibiotics.
