Very rapid. In fact, too rapid. Hope the bubble does not burst. It is good for us as there are huge employment opportunities. But at the same time, it is causing an imbalance everywhere. Big cities are getting bigger, smaller cities and towns are growing but the infrastructure, discipline, civic sense is not showing any signs of improvement. There is widespread poverty as IT has not really benefited the rural poor. E.g. Bangalore. The IT companies are forcing the Government to focus on roads, infrastructure and other civic amenities that fall in their areas and the slum dwellers and the poor are neglected.
