Yes, I have more to say ... your congressional representatives are there to serve you. They want to know how you feel about issues. They can't and don't vote in a vacuum. They are also great sources of help when you are having a problem with a government agency.

I have and I do. I get a response from their representative acknowledging that I have contacted them. I do know it helps if enough citizens contact them about the same issue. We had a bill passed here in Texas about fatal car accidents. If we supported the bill for the driver of the car to have blood drawn immediately instead of waiting in case of DWI or DUI driving. There was an overwhelming response, and the bill passed within 3 months time.

***Ok, I tried to do as you asked but I need to add something. My congressman is Bill Thomas (he is retiring this year) I don't particularly like him that much. But when I contacted his office about a problem I was having with one of our government offices here, his office got involved and the problem was solved in 2 weeks. That was AFTER 2 years of trying by myself!

Yes, I do all the time. Plus other states reps and senators, the president, the newspapers, and anyone else who really p*sses me off.

Heck yeah! I believe e-mail is better in some ways though. Any snail mail has to go thru security and be irradiated to protect against Anthrax.
