Question back: Why would you be afraid of dating someone who is different racially? If it's anything to do with family and 'values' let me assure you that eventually, whomever you choose to marry is your own family and you'll have to cut the strings sooner or later. I've personally never dated a guy of the same racial background as I am because I find it overly boring...difference is sexy! There's always something new to learn and explore.

I date outside of my race...I have never been scared to do so. If you like someone who is of a different race than you, and you are scared to date them then he may not be the one for you. When you find the right guy and he is of a different race being scared will not come into play. Just the two of you being together will. Always remember that.

I date someone outside of my race and he means the world to me. When you love someone so much you dont even pay attention to their race. Just as long as he treats you good and makes you happy thats all that should matter. So if you like someone outside of your race, and you know hes the one for you dont hold back girl go for him. What could it hurt?

I didn't really date but I talked to a Jamaican a few times on the phone and saw him a few times walking home from school but I couldn't do it.It's like he was possessed or something.Talking about me being his queen and meeting his family the first time I talked to him on the phone. Then he cut his hair for me, thinking I was going to go meet his family but I couldn't do it. I talked to a white boy on the phone once and he must have thought black girls were 304s or something because he asked me to go to a room with him and chill.CHILL?????in a hotel room, and I don't know you?and this is my first time talking to you on the phone? NO,NO NO

i am actually thinking about doing just that- i know a few people who've done it and are succeeding in their marriage- even though our "indian community" doesnt take too kindly to them.
