Kung Fu Chris doesn't know what he is talking about. As of January 1, 2007, you will need a passport to come to Canada and return to the US only via public transport (bus, plane, train). However, you will still be able to cross via automobile until at least 2008 using only a birth certificate and drivers license.

Instead of keeping illegals out, our government has made it more difficult for citizens by inconveniencing them to buy a passport to go into Canada for a visit and then returning.
In the meantime on our southern borders, the invasion is growing and everyone just shrugs. Oh well.

I wonder if the illegals will have to get a passport to go into Canada. I doubt it.
Illegals can do anything they please, it seems.
