Alcohol could also be a factor. If you do not take drugs or drink a lot of alcohol than this is a very serious symptom.
Please call your eye doctor first thing in the morning. You want to prevent eye damage and prevent loss of vision.

Do you mean like your eyelids twitch? If that's what you mean, then it's because of stress or lack of sleep or both. It's your muscles spasming and will go away eventually when your body and mind are rested and calm.
If it bothers you, go see a doctor who will prescribe you something to soothe it. I've seen a doctor for eye twitching before and his pills helped. But the doctor said it's nothing to be worried about.

I don't think your eyes are shaken. I think it's a muscle spasm and that could be caused by lack of sleep, alcohol, illiegal drugs, over the counter drugs, over masturbation or under masturbation, over praying or under praying, eating too many salty foods to raise your blood pressure, or not watching enough docuementary dramas like NOVA, or Discover Channel.

you have some form of spasm.
Have you been hit in the head recently?
You should go to a doctor if it is your actual eye and not your eyelid!

One reason could be lack of sleep. Mine do that sometimes when I'm very tired.
