Matthew 18: 20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. You need to ask the question, Who was Jesus talking to? He was talking to His apostles and He literal meant what He said. Most teach that this verse is talking to us today. Think about this, if you have trusted in what the Lord Jesus Christ did for you on the cross, the Holy Spirit seals you unto the day of redemption and you become the temple of God because the Holy Spirit dwells in you. 1 Corinthians 3: 16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? You don't need two or three today for Him to be with you because He is dwelling with you.
