No disrespect but I have never heard anyone think that the pharaoh Anknaten was Moses.I major in ancient history.,and I study Archeology. The only evidence there is about Moses does not call him by name. There are hieroglyphics on the walls in Egypt the depict a vast number of people leaving Egypt and show writings of some of the miracles. They are saying that it might have been Anknatens father who was the Exodus pharaoh and not Ramses the second. They are thinking that is why Anknaten believed in one god, the Aten.I will tell you this, a lot of archaeologists take a bible with them on some of their digs as a historical map of sorts. So in a sense, the bible is historical proof in a way.The site that guy gave you 2 answers before me is false. It is looking at things from a different point of view. I study American and well documented History and archeology.

One thing I would like to say about Piper's answer-----it is an OK answer. Except, they have now proven that it was Thutmose I who was Pharaoh when the Exodus happened, and not Ramses II, as thought before. This was 300 years before they originally thought the Exodus happened. It was Thutmose III who was the father of Aknaten.

No it is not TRUE. The Holy Bible tells an awful lot about him. The other proof of his existence is in the family histories of the Jewish people. They have the most extensive collection of family trees in the world, concerning their own people.

no untrue , i believe their are scientific/ archeologigal basis to infer that Moses did exist and was part of an egyptian royal family, although he was of isralite origin, sorry I can't elaborate more for you I'm a bit rusty on the historical names etc. but use this as a starting point and you may find something

Who in the world told you that. Or, are you just making up things to convince yourself that the Bible is not reliable?
On second thought, the Egyptian records of Moses may have been expunged.

There is no proof except the Bible that any of the figures in it exist.
In fact, all of the stories in the bible are repeats of earlier pagan stories, just as the holidays are pagan ones.
