Chapter 13
16 And he shall make all, both little and great, rich and poor, freemen and bondmen, to have a character in their right hand, or on their foreheads. 17 And that no man might buy or sell, but he that hath the character, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. He that hath understanding, let him count the number of the beast. For it is the number of a man: and the number of him is six hundred sixty-six.
"Six hundred sixty-six"... The numeral letters of his name shall make up this number.

Only the beast gets the mark of the beast, (anti-Christ.) It is 666. It is suppose to be on his forehead. Some said he would come in the year 2000 as some said 1000 a little more than a thousand years ago. I guess some see something supernatural in well rounded numbers. William Miller said he would come in the mid 19th century. People like to think that it will happen in their lifetime. It is some religious mumbo jumbo that aids to Roman Emperor Constantine stumbled across and said that it belongs in the bible.

Symbolically, the forehead mark represents our thoughts and the hand mark represent our actions.
The beast literally is a creature. The mark of a creature. This glory of God is not to be reduce to the image of man or beast (Romans 1:23). I think that the beast represents man's desire to make God into a man like his fleshly self. True Man was made in the image of God not vice versa. Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God (1Corintians 15:50). So what Man truly is (before the fall where they got "coats of skins" (Genesis 3:21) or flesh you might say) is spirit the son of God as joint heirs with Christ as one son of God. But when our soul fornicates against her true love.... Christ... she worships the Beast and all its liking.

most would say 666, but in reality the mark of the beast will be an implant microchip. This will be the down fall of man if they choose to get this chip implanted.

I'm not an expert at this part of Christian theology however, from my knowledge it is...
Something that the anti-christ gives his citizens as a sign that they have accepted him, if one does not take it, it makes life in the antichrist's society very difficult...
At the time of the anti-christ's rule
I guess they'll be damned for accepting the anti-christ as their leader...

in the bible an angel came down and put a mark on gods people. it was a spiritual mark. Satan , the beast and false prophet have their own spiritual mark 666. when a christian is babtised what do you call it? babtised When Satans children get babtised what do you call it? possesed
