no, they tested this myth on mythbusters on the discovery channel and allowed either jamie or adam to get bit and even though it hurt a bit it didn't cause any serious harm.

Daddy Long Leg Spiders do have small fangs, but the brown recluse spider has a similar fang size, and they are capable of delivering poisonous bites. There are two theories to why Daddy Long Leg Spiders do not harm humans. One is that their muscles are too weak to bite skin, and the other is that their venom is not poisonous to humans. I think that the truth is a mixture of the two.
I hope this was helpful!

Snopes.com -- a great "myth busting" site:
"This claim has a few ambiguities to it. First of all, "poisonous" and "venomous" are two distinctly different qualities: poisonous animals give off toxins which are absorbed when they are touched or eaten by attackers; venomous animals transmit toxins by injecting them into their victims. Secondly, more than one type of critter is referred to as a "daddy longlegs." The crane fly, a winged insect which looks like a large mosquito, is called a daddy longlegs in some parts of the world (such as England), but it is not venomous (nor is it a type of spider). "

the fangs are too small to penetrate human skin, and the amount of venom they release is too small amount to do harm to larger animals when it dilutes in the bloodstream even if they weren't.
against small insects, they are very deadly predators, but not because they fight well one on one. they will usually pounce on their prey in groups!
the reason they aren't deadly to humans, is because of the veru small amount of poison they actually secrete.

Yes, and yes. it is true that they are very venemous, but thier fangs are too little to penetrate human skin. "Mythbusters" did an episode on this.
