I don't think it has anything to do with you, or someone else coming into his life, I suspect he has hit a mid life crisis, and is panicking and wanting to do something he always wanted to do and never did. If he is the open/honest type, don't you think he would have told you he found someone else?

After being together for 19 years, and if you were paying your share, it might be a matter for the courts in deciding that perhaps the home is as much yours as his. In fact, you may be able to have him move and you stay there. This may snap him back to his senses.

Contact an attorney, it will not cost anything for a consultation, and if you have a case, go for it. In all honesty to you, this is the only hope I see for you getting some sort of leverage in trying to counter his sudden decision to put you on the street, and maybe that will be your ace in the hole for getting him back.

A court may even deem it necessary to sell the home and split it 50/50, and that may even force him to get his head out of his behind.

I hope you will be ok,

Darryl S.
