I live in the Tropics where is summer all year long. My husband puts every day after a shower, baby powder, it helps him a lot. Also make sure your husband wears comfortable underwear (breathable) to prevent the rash.

Chafing? I would make sure it wasnt jockitch..if it is, just use some lotrimin or whatever spray they are selling these days..regular heat rash/chafing use powder before dressing. It is caused from sweating and clothes or legs rubbing against the skin.

The best method is dusting powder, keeps the area dry, ointments aren't any good because they just keep the area hot and moist, which is what causes the heat rash

When I was in my 20's I had heat rash on my chest. It looked like little red pimples almost like measles. I powered my chest with cornstarch, the stuff you cook with, and it made them go away and prevented more from forming.

maybe if your husband had a brain and was smart enough to prevent this on his own this would not happen. or maybe you have some sort of disease that gives him this and you think its heat rash...hows this for playing with your head
