Alcoholic Cirrhosis is not hereditary. Drinking too much damages the liver. This is a preventable disease. Please take care of yourself.

Your chances are higher for liver problems. I'd try to cut back. Think about it. Which is more important? All the booze you want to drink or your life? I've seen what Cirhosis can do to a person and their family members that get left behind. It's sad.

Pay attention to other answers regarding the cirrhosis.
If you dont have a problem with alcohol, stop drinking till Christmas. See if you can do it easily. If you can't, you have a problem already.
