The Apocalypse Of Saint John
Chapter 22

16 I Jesus have sent my angel, to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the root and stock of David, the bright and morning star. 17 And the spirit and the bride say: Come. And he that heareth, let him say: Come. And he that thirsteth, let him come: and he that will, let him take the water of life, freely. 18 For I testify to every one that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book: If any man shall add to these things, God shall add unto him the plagues written in this book. 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from these things that are written in this book. 20 He that giveth testimony of these things, saith, Surely I come quickly: Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Contrary to the misconceptions of some of the Protestant answers above, the bible actually doesn’t specify exactly which books should be in it (Revelation is referring to itself as “this book of prophesy”, not the whole bible), so add and remove what you want. You are also free to change the text you don’t like since that has already been done when they complied the NT and they hoped no one would notice. So go ahead and twist some stuff around, I’m sure your version will make more sense than the popular one.

That is what screwed the whole thing up in the first place. People putting their own twist on Gods words.Acording to God it There is a law. You are not qualified because one has to be in an unbroken chin of disciplic succession from the appearance of Christ to translate. BUt Not misenterpeit. thats bogus
You can't even spell how are you going to write the Bible rascal Go to http://www.stephen-knapp.com for universal truths

Why not, Thomas Jefferson did? Jefferson thought that Jesus had proposed an excellent ethical system, so he left that stuff in. However, he was opposed to the religious dogma of Christianity and he did not believe in the supernatural claims about the Christian God or his miracles, so he left them out – just as he left them out of the US Constitution.

In Jefferson’s own words:

•“I have recently been examining all the known superstitions of the world, and do not find in our particular superstition [Christianity] one redeeming feature. They are all alike, founded upon fables and mythologies.”

•“It is not to be understood that I am with him [Jesus] in all his doctrines. I am a Materialist.”

Tyler you are doing (writing a bible version) what people did after the original bible was written. The bible has many false statements in it written by men over the years. But there is much truth in it along with the false statements.

Rev 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

You probably will leave this out but just thought I'd warn you.

There isn't a "law", but other churches will call you blasphemous. You can start whatever religion you want. Go ahead. Let me know when you finish your "bible", it might be interesting. I personally wouldn't follow it, but I'd like to hear your opinions, when you use spellcheck.

You couldn't call it a bible. It would just be a book of your beliefs and your friends beliefs. Sounds like you want a religion of your own design, so in essence you worship a god that you invent in your own mind. I won't be buying your book anytime soon.

I prefer to worship the actual God.

In the Bible it says you cannot rewrite your version of the Bible. The Bible is Truth and the pathway to him.
