If you know that something is a delusion (like, "I realize that I am under the delusion that elves run my computer"), you are probably sane enough to stop thinking that way. Most people are NOT aware of their delusions, though (this is what makes it a delusion, not just a fantasy or a daydream or a wish), which is why it's helpful to seek professional assistance (although, if you're not aware of having delusions, why would you think you needed help?)

I doubt it unless the delusions are being brought on by some type
of substance such as drugs or some medications. If that's your
case then you must eliminate these things but if you don't use drugs or take any medication then you need to see a doctor.
They wont go away without help.

seeing a professional would be the step to take and find out if you need it or not. If not you will be told that. Its like getting your car to a trusted mechanic if making a funny noise to have it diagnosed. It can be minor or major but at least you are getting closer to having it fixed. Stop worrying and just do it.
