headgear??

Question

i have asked a simular question a couple of times lately but still havent really got an anser to help me so sorry 4 asking again. anyway i have braces and am getting reverse pull headgear aswell which i only have to wear at night. what will my braces look like during the day when i have the headgear off? will there be weird wires and other stuff all in my mouth even when it is off? could someone who has had reverse pull headgear or even other headgear or a dentist please answer my question because i have a job and everything and i dont really wana go to work with all weird wires and stuff in my mouth

I had headgear that I had to where during the night! It sucked but I never had any weird wires that stuck out or made my braces seem any different! They hurt at first but you get use to them and you stop thinking they are in after awhile. Just be thankful you don't have to where them all the time!! But to answer the question nothing happened with the braces, they just adjusted my braces so that the headgear could go in, but it didn't look different! It was just pieces they added to my teeth that had holes so the headgear could slip threw! Actually my best friends did not know I had headgear until I actually slept over once...that was 4 months after I got them! They were surprised! I would say if your worried ask you orthodontist if anything will change or if they have to add anything! Hope this helps!!

I had headgear for like 6 mon....i was so mad but i got used to it. The head gear hooks on in the back so you cant see any extra wires I kno its a pain but wear it ALL the time ur sapose 2 bcuz 4 evry day u dunt wear it u have to wear it and extra 3 days Im glad i dunt hav it n e more for me braces off in 4 mon yippee

What worry about it again and again when you know you can do away with your braces sooner or later!
