i have had this riddle stuck in my head.

"A man was slowly counting but unfortunately he miscounted. A little later he suffered a sharp pain in his back. Why?"

i cant' figure it out, so please help

maybe he was counting pills and either counted too many or not enough

He was counting the steps down a dark stairwell. When he miscounted he fell down the steps.

i heard this riddle before. the answer is that the man was counting pins as he removed them from a new shirt. unfortunately he missed one. in more simpler terms, the man removed all pins except one on accident. not knowing that there was one pin still left on his new shirt, he wore hit. so the pin stung him in the back causing him pain in his back.

he is counting items as he puts them in a box
the pain in his back is wen he is carrying it

I guess he had heart problems and was counting his heartbeat because he was having a heart attack??
