The urinary bladder, mostly a muscle, is like a holding tank after urine is made by the kidneys. Whwn it gets full, the muscle contracts, you have to pee, you relax the sphincter and it happens.
The bladder is filled by the Kidneys by way of the ureters. If those get blockeed, or the bladder cannot release, urine will back up into the kidneys and can cause lots of problems, like hydronephrosis. Think of the plumming as backing up, toxins stay in the body and so on.
Usually the bladder is not the problem for people, its the kidneys that filter the blood and make urine.
If the bleadder is damamged, removed etc, a urostomy is made in which the ureters are surgically directed out the body.

it will start to effect you if you dont get it sorted, you may have to catheterise yourself every 3-4 hours, which consists of a long tube that u insert into your penis which lets the urine drain out of you bladder so that your bladder is not holding loads of urine. a typical person would normally empty their bladder 4 hourly throughout the day. go and see our doctor and see what they say

well if it is not working, it cant dispose of the waste. i suppose it would damage the organs, get infections and things like that.
