Since I adopted him 2 years ago from a shelter I spend much of my time with him. He follows me everywhere and often wimpers when I leave home. I think about him often while away from home (especially at work).

I wondered once if I knew my dog in one of it's former lives, not that I actually believe in reincarnation. I was talking to someone about my first wife, who died in 1989, and when I mentioned her name and spoke, the dog looked at me with a look that startled me, as if I was talking about her. It definitely freaked me out for a moment! A few times, I've tried to call the dog by calling her with my wife's name, to see if she would give any special response to it, but she has never done it again. I have to assume that it was just a fluke of an incident and a complete misinterpretation on my part.

Maybe. I definately believe in reincarnation. My baby cousin used to be Queen Elizabeth (Supposedly) and a few years ago, a stray cat would always come and play with her and stuff, and a psychic (?) said that this cat was someone checking up on her, or something like that.

But yeah, my dog used to cry. He suffers from seperation anxiety =]

Do you mean knew as in met him in a past life as the same exact beings or knew him in the biblical sense as in how Adam knew Eve?

No, I'm sure you don't remember him from a past life.

Your dog, however, may remember you from one of his nine lives as a cat.

Hey; ya' never know !

It's irrelevant. Just love your dog now.
