My first guess would be Slovak.

Yet I will do a bit of research and get back and edit if necessary.

My next three guesses are:

Polish
Czech
Sorbian or Byelorussian.

It might even be some ethnic group that was absorbed into the Polish in the middle ages.

Where a name "originated" is not always where your ancestors came from, not to mention that many surnames have more than one "origin". You need to trace the PERSONS back through records, in order to have reliable information. Don't forget.. you are not simply descended from the name you carry. You have 2 parents/ 4 grandparents/ 8 gr grandparents. All of these persons are equally part of your heritage.
