I'm so self-consious about how I look. I'm 114 pounds, 5'5, and I'm always on a diet and trying to lose weight, or trying to tone up more. I wish I didn't care so much...but I do. I try to pretend that I don't care, and that I'm happy with me...but I'm not really, and It's gotten to the point where I feel like I can't date or anything because I'm always wondering what the guy is thinking about me, whether he feels the same way about my body as I do..which isn't a good thing! I know it isn't attractive to guys (or to anyone else for that matter) to be so self consious...but I can't help it. Is there anything I can do to get over this!?! I'm sick of feeling this way!

Girly, you need to keep yourself busy with hobbies and sports or something. People who obsess the way you do have too much idle time on their hands. That only leads to unhappiness. Get busy and live. You won't be feeling this way once you get your chemical composition realigned. You do that with excercise, preferably sports.

I am a 5'11", 210 pound, male to female crossdresser. I can look good enough to go anywhere I want in public. If I can look good, You can look great. Without even trying. Maybe go for a makeover. Play at Glamour shots for an afternoon. It costs like $15 if you don't buy any pictures.

I cannot give you the exact answer to this but you must remember you have to love and care about yourself before you can do that for someone else (relationship wise) It doesn't matter what anyone thinks about you, beauty is on the inside not the outside. It takes a true person to find that beauty. Maybe talk to someone about it? (counseling wise)

It sounds like you might need some professional help. it sounds like there is more going on than just worrying about your weight. This is getting in the way of you enjoying your life and may spiral into an eating disorder

If you've tried to stop doing this by yourself and it hasn't worked you may need a few session of counseling.

Sometimes you're brain gets stuck playing the same song over and over and you need some help to get the song to stop.

First of all, you are UNDERWEIGHT. try gaining a few pounds. secondly, if you're trying to have a perfect movie celebrity body, it's not going to happen. plus, guys dont want twigs for girlfriends. just be you, if the guy is on a date with you he obviously thinks ur hot and likes ur body.

You mean you are sick of being obsessed with how you look, right? Simple, don't look at the mirror and be care-free about what others think or say how you look!

Just be happy the way you already look, beauty is only in the eye of the beholder. I know you are a beautiful person, so just be happy with who you are.

Maybe try counseling. I don't mean that in a negative way. It's an obsessive behavior that they can help you with.
