The LEGAL drinking age in Cancun is 18. I have never seen anyone carded though. You will be alright unless you look like you are 10 or something. I took a bunch down ages 14-18 and the 14 year old was dancing on the bar at Bulldog Cafe, but then she was with me and I know the manager. You will be fine.....don't worry....just party and have fun!!!!

Legally, 18. Most tourist places/Tijuana will card you at the door, but some don't. If you're going to Mexico to party, bring a Mexican friend with you who knows where the good clubs are. Chances are, if there's too many white college kids in it, it will be shaken down by the police.

Considering there is next to no law in Mexico, I'd say when you can hold the glass without dropping it.
