They live - I think you're confusing my heterosexual mustache with a gay mustache. :)

It's legal here in Canada and not much has changed so far. But we're so wrapped up in looking at immediate oucomes and quick fixes that we fail to see the long term effects of our actions. I think it's unfortunate how far we keep stretching our moral boundaries. In fact, we dont really have any unified sense of morality anymore.. which IMO, is very scary.

It won't impression everyone different than homosexuals! loopy, huh? right this is what i will arise with. The states that have legalized gay marriage are those being the least plagued by utilising the recession. Why? Marriage's no rely if or no longer they be gay or at cutting-edge cost funds! plenty and many funds. So if we legalize all gay marriage, then we would desire to have the potential to get out of the recession quicker. deliver a message to Obama already!!!!

This question rips at the root between morality versus legality. It's as loaded as abortion. The united states prides itself on freedom, but yet holds a morale line. These two things enter the political arena and cause a ripple effect into far reaching issues. It's sad that we have to be alarmist, judgmental, etc, ...but after all we are only human. And that...is after all, the problem and the solution. ...we are human together.....we will see.

Hard to say it would have some impact.

First off marriage might become a majority institution in the country again (currently it's under 50%)

It could have a bearing on health insurance costs for everyone, plus or minus.

There would possibly be an increase in court cases for divorce and interhitance cases.

There would be new problems for things like check cashing and banking.

There might be an increase in hate crimes.

Not sure but looking at your picture with the mustache, I've got a feeling you'd be pretty happy about it....

Very likely, society would become more liberal, and less moral. As it has in other countries where gay marriage is legal, there will likely be a sharp decline in the number of heterosexual marriages.
If marriage looses it's unique position and perks in society, the position itself is of no value.

It shouldn't have any, IMHO, except for there being more weddings.

Unfortunately, the idiotic bigots who are so obsessed with what everyone else does in their bedrooms would probably have conniption fits and claim that the world was ending and that the "sanctity of marriage" was doomed.

Like Brittney Spears is some sort of shining example of the "sanctity of marriage"...?

On society ..none. We are already doing a huge nosedive down the moral toilet so the only thing nationwide acceptance of civil unions would do is perhaps flush the bowl.
