1) Drifting is stupid. ( dumbest motorsport idea ever. If you want to race then race. Smoking tires & making fluky turns has no purpose)
2) FWD. You can't turn and spin the wheels at the same time.
3) It's a freaking Taurus!!!!!!!! It's car you drive at Hertz. Not on Tokyo Drift. Has what? 150 hp tops? You have got to be joking?
4) Stick to your playstation's Grand Turismo game.

The car is too lame to drift. My suggestion is to get going like 30MPH and stomp on the little E-brake peddle; you'll start drifting REAL fast. Drifting Front wheel drive cars only works in crappy racing games, which leads me to create a new motor sport for front wheel drive car drivers. Its called torque steer: the goal is to drive straight off the road in a corner with the wheels turned. The only rear wheel drive that can participate is my RX7 because it understeers like its going out of style.

Oh.
My.
God.
Congrats on exploding my f'in head with your ignorance.
A: Its front wheel drive!!!!! A drift car must be RWD with the exception of hardcore ebrake enthusiasts.
B: No limited slip differential!!! Not that it matters, because its FWD, but in order to really slide you must be spinning both rear wheels.
C: It weighs as much as two 240sx's.
D: Ford automatic 4 speed transmission, c'mon... not just an auto, a crappy one...
E: Suspension what? Its sprung so soft it will roll over before it slides.
F: Oh yeah, YOUR DRIVING IT. If you have to ask why a Taurus can't drift, you are the problem sir.
PS: Plenty of "family" four-door sedans make great drifters, but not a flippen Ford Taurus.
Try a: Toyota Cressida, Lexus IS, GS, or LS, hell Blitz's factory drift car is a R34 Skyline sedan.
It also might be because your a crossdressing 19 year old virgin. I was just looking at some other questions you've asked... not that there is anything wrong with being a virgin, but drifting is for the crazy sexy big-haired popular types, wearing a panties might be uncomfortable in a feint or tank slapper ;)

Because it's front wheel drive. And it's heavy. And it's a piece of crap Ford that handles poorly to begin with. If you want to drift race, buy an old Nissan 240SX and fix it up; They are great for that.

There are three factors that prevent form drifting your car:
1) Your car is not all set for drifting.
2) You don't know how to drift
3) You don't have my coaching.

Probally cause you got stock tires. The Taurus isn't made for drifting but with the right tires, anything is possible.
(To be honest I don't think they make cars especially for drifting).
Ya, get new tires.
