i own a repair shop, and these aren't too bad to do,i always drop the heater box out of it to make it easier to do,you can just remove half of it,and get to it,but you have to remove the hoses from the out side, and drain it real good ,and you might be able to bring it out without taking the whole heater box out of it,i have done a few that way but i think its harder that way but there's room for the cover to come off once you remove the glove box from it,and the cover screws ,you also need a good repair manual on this truck,it will help you a lot,,good luck i Hope this help,s.and have a good thanks giving.

heater core is under the dash in the center. remove the glove box, remove the blower motor box, evacuate the a/c system then remove the evaporator box. then remove the heater box and remove the heater core. Some models it is easier to remove the complete dash board assembly first. total job time is listed at 5.2 hours

its under the glove box in a black housing. you must remove the whole housing as a unit, then split the housing to remove the core

I really don't know how to help you man. I'd just go to some different website and look around on how to do it but I'm sure you've already tried that, eh? Well good luck anyways.
