Where did you meet your fiance? If that place is appropriate- get married there. You can always find a botanical garden or park, or wherever you are having your reception you can get married. In our area, you can even get married in a museum-- so get creative and oh, don't forget to ask the bride where she might like to be married-best wishes!!

Pick something that is reflective of you both as a couple. If you love to ski, get married in colorado, do you love to camp? Get married in a natural park. Main thing..do what you want! I'm learning this as a bride to be myself! My fiance and I are renting a large cottage/house up north, having our ceremony outback near the lake and having a party there afterwards.

Anywhere you want. I got married in my friend's living room. There were only about 10 ppl there, though. Sometimes I see people getting married in the park. It's beautiful and if you have a nice park, it comes with it's own flowers!

Some are, farm, hotel, park, ship ( and no captains can't legally marry a couple) winery, garden, home, B & B, museum, even the venue where you're having the reception, which is becoming more & more popular.

Try an Event Hall or a restaurant. I got married outside by a pond right at a restaurant.

There is a FANTASTIC place in Pawleys Island called the Litchfield Plantation (www.litchfieldplantation.com)...the location is beautiful and there is space for something small, about 50 people, to something extravagant, about 500 people...

Have it at a place that is special to you both. I know couples who were married in parks, a meadow, a friend's property, a cave, at home.

I recommend having the ceremony at the same place you are having the reception. It saves a lot of traveling time, plus its convenient for the guest.

Well I have been married a few times my friend so I would say the most appropriate place would be aligator adventure!
