There is only one beer in a pitcher. If you are asking how many glasses of beer do you get from a pitcher, well it depends on the size of your glasses. For the most part at a normal bar with a normal pitcher and normal glasses it about 5 glasses. Sorry didn't mean to confuse the issue.

A typical beer is 12oz (vs a glass, which is 8oz). A pitcher is 64 ounces.
Do the math, a pitcher is just a touch over 5 "beers". Doi ~ think of it as just a 40oz plus 1 beer (& 2 oz)
aka - two Beer Steins. popularized via Oktoberfest in Germany, each stein is a full liter, or about 33 ounces.
SO; this means that we - as awesome human beings - should be able to consume one to two pitchers, or two to four beer steins per person. Consumed responsibly, of course, throughout the day.

If a standard beer pitcher is 48 oz., then I'll say 4 beers in a pitcher.

I just had a pitcher with 2 friends the other night and we had one full tall beer glass each and then a little more in each glass after that, so I would say no more than 4 tall beer glasses worth.

A bottled beer is 12oz. so, depends on if you are using an 8, 12, 16 or 22oz glass and how many ounces are in the pitcher. Do the math.
