It depends on what brand, other reads pre-rinse mouthwash so obviously before brushing twice a day..but i use two brands whitening and "therasol" that i bought from my dentist's ofc. So now, morning will be the whitening pre-rinse and then at night the therasol where i dip my toothbrush and gargle the rest after per dentist instructions. So the answer is it really depends what kind of mouthwash you are using.
What are u using newaiz? jz curious. :D

After is generally better, though there are some pre-brush rinses.... I don't tend to recommend them. enh.

MY big suggestion about sequence is to floss before brushing....most people brush and floss (in that order.) I like to suggest flossing first (gets junk out from between teeth and into gum pockets) and them brushing, whic helps clear the junk out. I suppose the rinse would clear out post-floss detritus, but...

If you have a Fluoride rinse (like ACT) it's DEFINITELY after floss/brush and then no rinse w/ water.

I think after brushing and flossing so it can better get in between your teeth and down under your gums. Both of those places are the breeding grounds of plaque/bacteria and it is very important to get Listerine there.

Usually after since most of them you're not supposed to drink or eat or anything for 1/2 an hour after using them.

After... Read the instructions, there on the bottle! Twice a day, for best results.
