how does the taste and feel of cognac compare to something like brandy? congnac sounds like it'd taste pretty good......then again so did brandy.....granted it was pretty cheap brandy. i've heard it's much smoother though.

That was my forte, years ago. Always buy good brandy. The difference in price is always out-done by the difference in quality. Cognac has a very distinct, and some may say, smoother feel. Cognac will turn a chugger into a sipper.

yeah cognac is a lil' bit more expensive and it is more smoother than brandy. i'm not a dark liquor fan, but i do drink cask and cream my e&j,, and it's really good..

it's really better than plain brandy. it's smoother. it's good in margureitias. it's what makes them gooooood.

henessey is hard to swallow. e&j brandy doesnt burn your throat that much.
