We were neighbors our freshman year of college.

He was crazy about me the first time he saw me, and I felt things for him too -- but I was in a relationship at the time.

Two years later, we end up as neighbors again and I am single now. Today I told him that I like him. He seemed really speechless about it. Things are cool between us, but just up in the air right now... I'm not sure how he feels anymore.

What would make a guy lose interest?

Did I make him lose interest?

Sooooo, you've gone to college and somehow don't realize that two years of maturing, experiences, meeting different people, exposure to new and different things might change a person???

He really may have just moved on, but he could also be trying to figure out if you are really, truly available this time.
A word of caution from someone who has been there: be reaaaaallllllly careful about dating neighbors. If it ends badly, it can really wreck the rest of the year.

He could've moved on. two years is a long time and he probably felt it pointless to wait around for you if you were already in a relationship. or maybe is really does like you and just doesn't know how to express his feelings.
