He says that his office in Northern New Jersey is about 1 hour each way to his home in Newtown PA. He just moved to NewTown a year ago. I live in Maryland which is about 200 miles from Newtown and he usually comes down every other weekend. I applaud him on getting ahead in his company, however when I asked him does this mean that in few months time we won't talk and/or have vists very often. He quickly changed the subject. Do you guys think that I should make a clean break now before 5 months comes quickly. I care for him so much but I really don't want to hold him back.

In order to make a relationship work, there should always be compromise. I think you and your bf should sit down and talk about having such relationship and find solutions that would satisfy both of you..like visits once a month or...eventually you moving on with him or something. But if you think breaking up with him would be easier then by all means do it.

Just take things one day at a time.....Why worry about what MIGHT happen in 5 months. Do you believe that the relationship won't work? Before I married my husband we lived 12 hours apart in drive time and an hour and a half flight time......If I would have broken up with him while we were dating because I was worried about what "might" have happened....we wouldn't be married for 5 years with an 8 month old son....
