My grandpa is 83 and still travel from the States to China, New-zeland every year without any problems. Maybe the jetlag and the time of the travel is becoming difficult to surpass.

As long as you are in good health you don't have to worry

Its dangerous for someone over 75 just to get out of bed, never mind a plane or anything else.

The only two things to worry about would be
1) physical health
airports require a fair ammount of walking, but one can always opt for a wheelchair.
There are also other physical factors- like jet lag and such

2) old folks may pose less of a threat and be prone to pick pocketing or other acts of crime.

As long as the person is in fairly good physical health, there's absolutely no reason why age would be a factor in flying, or piloting, for that matter!

Your only as young as you seem. If you feel too old and can't do anything, then that is what you will do "nothing". But if you see your self being and acting young than that is what you will become. Your mind is the best thing you have and you can do many things with it....

Not really, unless the flight is extra long and the passenger doesn't move around. That can cause blood clots in the legs, but that can happen to any of us.
