There are two relatively comparable Brazilian Restaurants in San Diego.

1. Rei do Gado on 4th Avenue, south of Broadway.
2. Samba Grill in Horton Plaza.

Visit my SD Reader link for a coupon for 2 for 1 dinner at Samba Grill.

Both restuarants are buffets serving various types of grilled meats. Both have great salad bars.

Prepare to eat alot! Have fun!

Fillipes Pizza Grotto, they are all over. as for Brazilian I dont know... I know a fantastic general South American resturant in Old town dont worry it isnt cheesy and touristy its very small. its across the street from the paking lot where the old school house is and I belive it is called Lydias. i could be wrong on the name but its a small house like building and the have awesome empenadas. also I recently discovered an amazing Argintinian Resturant called Pampas on Aero drive in Claimont Mesa its right next to the small airport and there food is the best ever. I highly recomend either. Enjoy!

I visited there last week and stayed in the outskirts. There is a restaurant called Firenza Trattoria in Rancho Santa Fe and a good Peruvian restaurant in Encinitas called Amici (also called Q'ere or something like that).
