i believe the second class of people are the better. the only perfect being is God, Himself. for any of us to think we have reached perfection is absurd. trying to help others and to uplift their spirtis is the beginning of the road to perfection.

the person who tries to uplift others because they know that they are not perfect. Even though the others that the person is uplifting may also know they are not perfect, doing so makes them feel accepted for being who they are.
But to be perfect in God's sight, all one has to do is accept his word, ask and recognize the sins that one has commited, be baptized, accept Jesus as our savior, and live life with different goal in mind. and if one happens to sin, prayer and forgiveness help create one clean again in God's sight., as well as the recognition that one will try not to do it again.

Anyone stupid finds no delight in descernment, except that his heart should uncover itself-Proverbs 18:2....A true companion is loving all the time, and is a brother that is born for when there is distress.-Proverbs 17:17.....The first Proverb is for the perfect person above and the second one is for the uplifter. ...KECK

what is the thing that would bear better results?
to put low self-esteem on others, or to help others feel better?
who is most likely to have found the truth?
the one who thinks he or she can't do anything wrong? or the one who knows he or she is not perfect?
you will find that the results of what you do, or finding out what is true and what is lie gives you the answer of what is better and what is not...

THAT WOULD BE A QUESTION for GOD
Can judge a book by it's cover.
God knows each of us individually, even when a PERSON seems bad, sounds bad, God knows that persons heart, and may be a very good person.
PEACE!

Second!
As believers we should strive to be humble referenced in Phil. 2 -- calls for us to be like Christ and humble ourselves, and this is done by becoming servants to others with our abilities, not denying our abilities. One gives honor to others rather than drawing attention to ones self;
The only One that is perfect is Christ!!
It should always be about other!!!
