There Is Only One Animal Shelter in my area, and the kittens are months old and i would like a younger kitten so i do need details of a seller in st helens area, UK rather than a shelter! Thanks again, Jennie

Hi, have you tried the Kittenlist website?
You can search there for kittens by area in which they are for sale - both pedigree & moggies. - though I noticed that in your area all they were advertising at the moment were Siamese, Orientals & British Shorthairs.
http://www.kittenlist.co.uk/

This site also lists kittens for sale:
http://www.findit.co.uk/pets/cats.php
I think that you can search by area too - though you may just have to scroll through the pages (sorry)

There are also some adverts on the Pets4Homes site:
http://www.pets4homes.co.uk/pets4homes/home.nsf/Kittens-Cats-Sale!openform&Location=Merseyside

And you could also try this site:
http://liverpool.local.thesun.co.uk/sale/pet/cat
I think you just need to put in your postcode to search.

Hope that some of these are useful.

The only other thing I'd try, as you've already been to the local shelters, is to ring around some local vets or visit some local petshops & newsagents as they might have adverts in the window or on a noticeboard inside.

Good luck

Go online and have a look at Loot. In the Home & Garden section (sub-section cats) you can do a search within so many miles of your post code, you never know some people just want the kittens to go to a good home for free! Give it a try I got my dog from there!

wait until march / april there will be loads of kittens in shelters. Most kittens are born in the spring/summer.

Feral cats often have 2 litters one in early summer and then one in late summer.

why do you want a kitten and not a cat? Kittens grow into cats very quickly.

Try going to your local animal shelter. They have TONS of really cute kittens that need homes.

Everyone is right please go to RSPCA or animal shelter. More and more people are letting their cats have lots of litters of kittens and because of this the RSPCA cannot find homes for their rescue cats and hence they have to be put down.

either do what everyone else said and go to the shelter, or go to craigslist.com and select your area, and then look at people's profiles that wat to give away free kittens or puppies. i got my free toy manchester terrier. great site you gotta at least see it.
