CRATE TRAIN THEM! It will work if you do it right. And it may seem cruel, but it's not.

NEVER rubs a dogs nose in its own feces. Is that how your parents potty trained you? I think not. That is considered animal cruelty.

To crate train a dog, buy a crate for the dog that does not allow the dog to move around that much. They should not be able to walk around in the crate.
For the first couple of days, leave the dog in the crate almost all the time, but try to keep the crate near you so your dog won't be upset. Have scheduled times to take let your dog out of the crate and let him do his business outside, but keep him in the crate for the most part. When he DOES do his business outside, reward him. If the dog does his business inside, don't freak out and yell and spank him, because by the time you will have found the mess the dog will not realize what you are punishing him for.

Eventually, the dog will learn to not go potty in its living area. We trained my oldest dog this way. She will hold it in until she pukes before she actually goes to the bathroom inside. She's about 9 years old now, and since crate training her when she was a puppy she has only gone to the bathroom inside once, and that was when she was sick.

I have just potty trained my new dog successfully. what i did, and still do. is take her outside 3 times a day. and you only feed her twice a day. remember.. what goes in, must come out.
watch how much water she's drinking. and most importantly...
1) take her out in the morning pick a time and STICK WITH IT.
when you get back from your walk.. feed her breakfast according to the size and wieght of the dog.
2) because she at and had water for breakfast she will need to pee and doo doo ha! so... about 2 hours later... take her for a walk.
3)Now, as time goes by and dinner time has arrived she will then eat her dinner. then 2 hours later take her out, and soon will be bed time... then repeat these steps.

know that if you don't have a set exact time, these steps will not work. she then will get used to this schedule and wait until her next break and dont let her down, because she will be expecting you to take her out, and if you don't? she will rebel:( Good Luck

the best way to do this is to take a newspaper put it where he pees alot and when he does give him a treat, this will make him or her think if i bathroom on the paper i will get a treat, now after 3 days of doing that inside take him and the newspaper outside and put the paper down and ussally thay pee on the paper and give him a treat do this for about a week and then take the paper away. The most important thing her is patience and if the dog feels your stress he isnt going to listen and when he does pee on the paper you need to praise him, like good boy or good girl, let him know he did something right, i have 7 dogs and this has worked on all of them.

the first thing you try is when you see em pee give em a pop on the bottom, rub his nose in it then put em out side. Do you have a carrier for him? if that doesn't work you can try time out, just like a kid they need a little discipline. when you see him pee pick him up give em a little smack on the bottom and then put em in the Carrier for 5 to 10 min. and put the carrier out side, or in a room that would be easy to clean up. like the bathroom or kitchen this would let him now that it is not OK to pee in the hose but putting the carrier outside or in a room that is easy to clean is letting him now that that is a OK place to go. it might help

All u have to do is get a small cage and take the puppy from the cage to the door and outside and he will learn to go outside and not in the house. I have 3 dogs myself I know how it is and a dog will never use the bathroom where he or she sleeps.

Any time she pees take them to the pad set her down make sure she stays for a second tell her she will eventually understand as she gets used to it scoot the pad towards the door till you even have to put it outside she will go to the door and want on the pad if you reward her even if she pees and you take her to the pad reward and praise her. dogs love and understand high pitched voices. after it is out side you can stop using them

Good question, had mine for years, and she still does it once in awhile. Sometimes I think it's on spite! But in her earlier days I would give her a confined area or even a cage(mean) I know, but it gets them use to holding it in and going outside, just make sure you let her out right away, after she leaves the area or cage! It's the one reason I will never get another pet, as much as I love them-you need to have the time and patience to deal! mine is like me(high maintenance) LOL

Let him know it's bad to pee in the house with a firm voice. Have a certain word that you say when he goes in the house. Our word is 'NO!' but you can pick anything. When he goes to the bathroom outside, let him know and give him a treat. It might take a few weeks but it's definitely worth doing it. then he'll know where to go!

You whoop your puppy with a newspaper, and will you're whooping him/ or her tell the puppy they don't pee in the house. Your dog should be giving some signals that he or she have to go outside. Take you're dog outside every three to five hours.

Rub his nose in it as soon as he does it and then take him to the door and put him outside for 2 minutes..after a few times doing this he will most likely catch on.Ive had 5 puppies in the last 4 years...this worked for all of them.good luck
