I have searched Adobe.com and have not been able to find Acrobat Distiller, does anyone have any recommendations?

Instead of buying Acrobat try first CutePDF, that is a free solution:

On the left of this page you'll find two links: Free Download and Free Converter, download them and install them. CutePDF installs a new printer named CutePDF. This enables virtually any Windows applications (must be able to print) to create good quality PDF documents. So open your Pagemaker file and print it using the CutePDF printer. A dialog box shows up to save the pdf file.
