My oldest daughter is the same as you. 13 , 5'8", and 168 lbs.
It's not abnormal, its just uncommon. It makes you unique. Glory in your height, and if your worried about your weight, watch out for junk food, and watch your portions, no more seconds, but most important is to get at least an hour of physical activity every day.

First of all, you're very young. When I was 13, I considered myself overweight. And yes you are very tall for your age, but we're all different. Don't worry about your weight.. Let the time heal everything. Now I'm happy about my weight. I'm 19 now.. it took me a good 5 years to actually get a healthy weight. All I have to say is.. Eat well and exercise.. I know everyone says this but it's true... =) And by the way, you don't need someone on the internet to tell you wether you're not fat to make yourself feel better. You can't always tell for sure if someone's fat, just by knowing her height and weight. Yes there's the Body Mass Index (BMI) But then again, that just an indicator. You have to see it yourself to judge yourself as fat or not. And tell you truth, if you look good then it doesn't matter how much fat you have on you, because you need it, Example: Nicole Richie lost the weight, but she actually looked better before I find.. No?? Think about it! =)

It makes me sad to hear a thirteen year old girl to worry that she is fat! This world is consumed with image. When in the long road image means nothing! Everyone is bueatiful including you. Look at this god created you the way he wanted you!! You are perfect! I suffered from bulima and anerxia for years starting when i was 14 not much older than you. It ruined my life. I missed out on some of the best years of my life beacuse i was to worried about being fat. There are far more important things to worry about!!!!And you are not fat!!!! but everyone can tell you that and it wont change a thing until you see that!!!! Next time you look in the mirror look at all the good things tell yourself you are bueatful!! beacuse we all are! I hope that you will get thru this phase and relieze it is silly to worry about it! first of all - you're tall, even for your age, and it sounds like you're built big to begin with. it doesn't mean your fat, it just means you have more to fill out with, and you're not a short little stick like me. :] you're only 13. when i was 13 i weighed 120 pounds and felt like i was fat, becuase all my friends only weighed 100, but now i'm 16 and i still weigh 120, and i look like every other "normal" looking girl in my school. once you start getting older and do more physical activity every day, you burn off a lot of your excess weight without even realizing it. you'll get taller soon, and you'll fill out so that you look more porportional. plus, once you start getting well into your teenage years your hormones make your metabolism faster, and even if your appetite is twice the size as it is now, you will actually lose weight. just as long as you make sure you're taking time to do some kind of excersise for about a half hour a day and you're not eating a pack of oreos every day - don't worry about it, you're still just a kid, and that's all you need to worry about.

Okay now imma be honest with you. I am 26 and weigh the same as you, BUT the twist is that you are TALL. You are not overweight you are well preportioned honestly. Since your online google it and find out the standards.
The average women is a size 12 or so anyway. Welcome to your teenage years enjoy it while it last and take it slow.

Yes, it's normal. You've very tall, and feet are not usually a good guice of 'fatness'. You're not fat, and you don't have any need to feel it. And don't listen to ANYONE on here that tells you otherwise.
(Your weight is in the healthy weight range for your height)

You're a tall young lady and weight may just be proportionate to your height. You're young and may keep growing and the weight may just fall off. But if not just stay active, keep moving, and eat healthy and your weight will come down. I'm 5'5" and wear a size 10 in womens. LOL

I don't think you are fat. It isn't about weight, it's about % body fat.
10-18% is skinny to average for a girl. I'm 6% body fat and still 138. I'm also a guy and I'm 5'10'. Whole other issue though.
You probably are skinnier than you think. Regardless, if you love the way you look, then it doesn't matter your weight.

ok i'm 13 y.o. too and im 5'8'' also but i only weigh 125 if you think ur fat then maybe u should not eat so many sweets . its also a good idea to eat when ever ur hungry 'but eat smaller portions now it might take time for your body 2 get used to ur new diet but its ok dont worry that means its working!! :-)

My sister is like that and don't worry you're not fat.Your feet are big because you're tall. Every girl at 13 will have a liitle chunk that they will eventually lose. Don't worry!
