Josh's Strawberry-Banana Fruit Smoothie
My own personal favorite. Short, sweet, and simple: this staple strawberry smoothie recipe will delight your entire family.
1 large banana
2 handfuls of ripe strawberries
4 heaping Tbs of applesauce
6-10 cubes of ice
Sprig of mint
Add ice and the applesauce first (applesauce provides the liquid necessary in the crushing of the ice). Crush the ice until substance is smoothie-like, and then add the other ingredients.
Enjoy this strawberry smoothie recipe.

How to Make a Green Smoothie
By Dr. Ben Kim
DrBenKim.com
What exactly is a green smoothie? It's a fruit smoothie that includes a big serving of dark green leafy vegetables.
Green smoothies are an excellent breakfast choice for many, as they provide healthy carbohydrates, along with an abundance of vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals, and chlorophyll. Green smothies are also an excellent source of fiber.
When making green smoothies, it is best to use slightly more vegetables than fruits. In general, we strive to make our green smothies 60 percent greens and 40 percent fruits.
Our favourite greens to use in green smoothies are romaine lettuce, kale, spinach, and Swiss chard.
Our favourite fruits to use in green smothies are bananas, pears, apples, blueberries, mangos, papayas, and pineapples.
If you don't have any problems digesting fruits and vegetables, you can mix and match any combination of the vegetables and fruits listed above. If you have a sensitive digestive tract, it is best to combine only one vegetable and one fruit at a time.
Directions:
Not only are green smoothies really good for your health, they are extremely simple to make.
Put green vegetables and fruits into a good blender and add just enough water to allow the blender to bring vegetables and fruits together into a smoothie-like consistency.
For extra antioxidant power, we like to add 1-2 teaspoons of acerola cherry powder and 1-2 teaspoons of Dr. Ben Kim's Greens to our green smoothies.
Enjoy the health benefits of green smoothies.

Directions
1. In a blender container combine strawberry juice blend, strawberries, yogurt, sugar, and vanilla. Cover and blend until nearly smooth (there should be small chunks of strawberry still visible).
2. Divide among 4 glasses. Sprinkle with wheat germ, if desired. Makes 4 servings.
Kiwi Smoothie: Substitute a kiwifruit juice blend for the strawberry juice blend and 1 cup peeled cut-up kiwifruit for the strawberries.
Melon Smoothie: Substitute orange or orange-tangerine juice for the strawberry juice blend and 1 cup cubed cantaloupe for the strawberries.
You can put in all sorts of fruits if youd like but im not sure if youd like it if you added the wrong combinations.

My well known: 3/4 - a million c vanilla yogurt a million banana, peeled 5 medium strawberries, rinsed & hulled a million/2 c milk 6-7 ice cubes Toss each and every thing in a blender, turn it on, and viola. yet another yum-o recipe: comparable as above, yet rather of banana and strawberry, toss in pineapple and purple or black raspberries. And yet another: cantaloupe and blueberries. relish! Edit: I only remembered, I made one final week with Stonyfield Farms Banilla yogurt, Knudsen's Pineapple Coconut juice, and a few ice. OMG yum!
